Research guide

Good research starts with context.

A practical guide to building a useful, transparent research collection.

01 · Start with your project URL

Paste a public project link. On the Free plan, AI can only interpret the URL itself; it cannot open the page. Any inferred name, niche, audience, or product is explicitly unverified.

02 · Ground the plan when context is missing

Use Refine context to paste text from the actual website. The AI uses this text to build specific queries around products, the audience, and your market. This is user-provided context, not independently verified evidence.

03 · Search with intent

Open the generated Google queries. Look for official pages, primary industry reports, competitor websites, recent articles, and relevant reviews or discussions. Verify authors, publication dates, and the original source of each claim.

04 · Keep only useful evidence

Add a source URL, its title, and an excerpt. The AI summarizes only that excerpt, assesses topical relevance, and rejects obviously unrelated or spammy content. Duplicate URLs are blocked. Relevance scores are not truth or trustworthiness scores.

05 · Export and keep the caveats

Download Markdown for the complete report, JSON for structured data, or CSV for collected sources. Exports preserve the distinction between AI suggestions and user-provided evidence.

For automatic live research

Automatic Google search and live result collection require a Pro plan with Web Search enabled in the Add-ons panel. This version does not claim to perform live research or analyze webpage contents.
